Question: 1.    When talking about animation how did the technique of hand painting individual film frames of cellulose influence movies.

Question: 2     Walt Disney Studio's invention of the multi-plane system for filming animation brought new concepts. How did it help within the film industry especially with political documentaries.

TMCC Artist Reception on Sept 25th from 5pm - 7pm in the Red Mountain Building on the third floor.
I have on display some of my paintings, drawings, poetry, and photography with I created in while in Italy 2012 - 2013.
Titled "The Journey Home" this display is an opportunity to thank the Benjamin A Gilman Foundation for the funding of my study of art and art history while in Italy.

 

The main idea for this section of the project was to use as much of the options or functions as possible. In the upper area I wanted to emphasize where we may have come from and where we may be going. In the center a more wild display of emotions and dream states. On the lower section more esoteric with the floating zen man and the eye that is watching over all of us.

Diptych Project

This project has a theme based on Introspective which is a study of oneself internally as well as externally. Using synonyms of the word Introspective such as Meditative, Reflective, Abstracted, and Realization, within my part of the project I have split it into three sections. The first or upper section applies the questions of where did we come from, our own self-awareness as well as the spirituality that governs our existence. The second or middle section deals with the emotions and fears of everyday life. These include anger, frustration, addictions, and substance abuse. It also looks at anorexia and the dream state outlined by Freud. The last or lower section handles how we may become as humans. Meditation, cyber implants for enhancement, or a reconfiguration of humanity itself.
